Test your panels without triggering every phone in the building
Scheduled panel testing is essential — but it shouldn't flood every phone with alarm messages or create confusion about whether there's a real emergency.
One click to silence notifications — not your monitoring
Panel testing triggers dozens of alarms in quick succession. Without test mode, that means a flood of notifications hitting every phone on your contact list — and people stop trusting the alerts. Magnifire's test mode suppresses notifications while still capturing every single event, so your test data is complete and your team isn't desensitised.
-
Activate securely from the panel, web app, or phone app — with a fallback duration so it never accidentally stays on
-
App and SMS suppression during testing — no alert fatigue
-
Every test event still captured and tagged
-
End-of-test notification confirms normal monitoring resumed
Digital records that satisfy the standard
Paper logbooks get lost. They get damaged. They get questioned in audits. Magnifire creates digital, tamper-proof testing records automatically — every event timestamped, every session summarised, every report downloadable as a PDF. When the auditor asks for your testing history, you hand them a link instead of a binder.

Automatic test session recording with timestamps
-
PDF reports for every test session

Testing tools that work the way they should
Flexible Activation
Start and stop test mode from the panel, the web app, or the phone app — securely, by the technician on site or remotely. A configurable fallback duration ensures test mode never accidentally stays on if someone forgets to end the session.
PDF Test Reports
Every test session generates a PDF report with timestamps, event counts, and session details. Automatically emailed to subscribed report recipients and available for download any time — so stakeholders see the work the moment it's done.
AS 1851 Compliant
Structured, timestamped, tamper-proof digital records that meet the documentation requirements of Australian Standard 1851 — no paper logbooks required.
Common questions about testing
No. Test mode only suppresses Magnifire's own notifications (app and SMS) — your existing alarm monitoring provider and brigade connection are completely unaffected. As with any panel test, the technician will still need to isolate the panel from the brigade during testing; Magnifire's test mode doesn't replace that step.
Yes. Every event during a test session is captured, timestamped, and tagged in the test record — Magnifire just doesn't send out app or SMS notifications while test mode is active. Your test report includes the complete event log, so you have a full picture of exactly what happened during the session.
Magnifire's test records include timestamps, event details, and session summaries — the kind of structured, tamper-proof documentation that satisfies AS 1851 requirements. Many auditors prefer digital records over paper logbooks because they're harder to fabricate or lose.
