Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of the Magnifire platform.
Last updated: April 2026
Agreement
By using the Magnifire platform ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
The Service
Magnifire provides cloud-based fire panel monitoring, alert notification, compliance reporting, and false alarm waiver assistance. The Service includes hardware monitoring devices, a web-based dashboard, SMS and email notifications, AI-powered analysis, and automated waiver letter generation.
Your responsibilities
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Ensure the monitoring device remains connected and powered
- Review AI-generated waiver letters before submission — you are responsible for the accuracy of any waiver application submitted to authorities
- Comply with all applicable fire safety regulations in your jurisdiction
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorised access to your account
Important limitations
Magnifire is not a fire monitoring service. We do not replace your Automatic Fire Alarm Service Provider (AFASP) or your connection to the fire brigade. Magnifire reads panel data passively and provides visibility, alerts, and analytics. Your existing monitoring and brigade connection remain exactly as they are.
AI-generated content requires review. Waiver letters, insights, and classifications are generated by AI and should be reviewed before acting on them. While we strive for accuracy, AI outputs may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying the content of any waiver application before submission.
Waiver outcomes are not guaranteed. Magnifire generates waiver applications based on state-specific legislation and criteria, but the decision to grant or deny a waiver rests with the relevant fire authority. We do not guarantee that any waiver application will be successful.
Availability
We aim to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, internet connectivity issues, or circumstances beyond our control may cause temporary disruptions. SMS notifications depend on third-party telecommunications services.
Intellectual property
The Magnifire platform, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Magnifire Pty Ltd. Your fire panel data remains your property. You grant us a licence to process, store, and analyse your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Termination
Either party may terminate the Service at any time. Upon termination, your access to the platform will be revoked and your data will be deleted within 30 days. You may request an export of your data before termination.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Magnifire's liability is limited to the fees paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
