Fire panel data
Our monitoring devices collect event data from your fire alarm panels, including alarm activations, fault conditions, isolation events, and system resets. This data is transmitted securely to our cloud platform and stored in association with your account.
Usage data
We collect information about how you interact with our platform, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken. This helps us improve the service and provide relevant support.
How we use your information
- To provide and maintain the Magnifire monitoring platform
- To send real-time SMS and email notifications about fire panel events
- To generate AI-powered insights, reports, and waiver letters
- To deliver scheduled email reports
- To communicate with you about your account, service updates, and support
- To improve our platform and develop new features
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the platform (cloud hosting, email delivery, SMS services, AI processing)
- Your organisation members who have been granted access to your Magnifire account
- Law enforcement or regulators when required by law
Data security
All data is transmitted using TLS encryption. Fire panel data and personal information are stored in secure, access-controlled databases. We implement industry-standard security measures including JWT authentication, per-request organisation validation, and encrypted connections throughout the platform.
Data retention
Fire panel event data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Upon account closure, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

Under Australian privacy law, you have the right to:
